Roadshow in Hong Kong
In the presence of Mr Jean-Pierre THEBAULT, the consul general of Hong Kong and Macao, Mr José FRECHES, the chairman of COFRES and Jacques FERRIER, the architect of the Pavilion France, medias attended to the press conference and did a virtual visit of the Pavilion France. Mr José FRECHES did remind the importance of Shanghai Expo in this time of economic crisis.
The architect of the project, Jacques FERRIER presented the numerous architectural innovations of the Pavilion France. For example, in the field of respect of the environment: the building is hanging upon a water surface creating a chimney effect in a way to substitute warm air to fresh air. Thanks to the quick air circulation and to the vertical garden inside the building, a comfortable and fresh atmosphere is thus made without air-conditioner.
After the press conference, almost 200 VIP gathered around a gastronomic cocktail in order to celebrate French art of living.
